Return & Refund Policy

Bangladesh Breastfeeding Foundation (BBF) is committed to maintaining transparency and fairness regarding payments made through its official website.

1. Applicability

This policy applies to payments for training courses, workshops, conferences, seminars, professional consultations and other eligible services provided by BBF.

Since most BBF services are educational or professional services rather than physical products, physical product returns are generally not applicable. This website does not list stocked retail products.

2. Refund eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

• Duplicate payments made for the same service.
• Successful payment without confirmation of registration or booking, where the service cannot be provided.
• Cancellation of a paid event or programme by BBF.
• Technical payment errors resulting in an incorrect charge.
• Other cases approved by BBF in accordance with the applicable service conditions and law.

3. Non-refundable payments

Payments may be non-refundable where:

• A participant fails to attend a confirmed event or training without cancellation within the applicable permitted period.
• A consultation or service has already been fully delivered.
• A clearly disclosed non-refundable registration condition applies, subject to applicable law.

4. Refund request procedure

Customers requesting a refund should contact BBF through its official communication channels and provide:

• Full name
• Registered mobile number or email
• Payment transaction ID
• Payment date and amount
• Name of the registered service
• Reason for requesting the refund

5. Refund processing timeline

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days after receipt and verification of a complete refund claim.

Refunds will normally be initiated through the original payment method, subject to the payment gateway and financial service provider’s procedures. The time required for funds to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the provider.

If further information is required to validate a claim, BBF will communicate with the customer.

6. Cancellation by BBF

If BBF cancels a paid event or service and no suitable alternative is accepted by the customer, the customer will be eligible for a refund of the applicable payment.

7. Service delivery

Conference, training, and consultation services are delivered on the scheduled programme date. Where BBF sends physical documents or materials, they are dispatched within 5 working days inside Dhaka and within 10 working days outside Dhaka after payment verification.
