This policy explains how Bangladesh Breastfeeding Foundation (BBF) collects, protects, and shares information submitted through the 9th Bangladesh Nutrition Conference website.

1. Information we collect

When you register, apply, donate, or contact the secretariat, BBF may collect:

• Name, designation, organization, and mailing address.
• Email address and mobile number.
• Registration category, symposium or exhibition details, and files you upload.
• Payment amount, payment date, transaction ID, and the payment method you select.
• Technical information such as IP address and browser type, used to protect the forms from abuse.

Card numbers, PINs, and mobile-banking passwords are entered on the SSLCommerz payment page. BBF does not store those secrets on this website.

2. How customer information is protected

• Registration and payment records are stored so BBF can confirm your place, issue a receipt, and respond to a refund or cancellation request.
• Access is limited to authorized BBF and conference secretariat personnel who need the information to deliver the service.
• Online payment is sent over SSLCommerz using encrypted payment pages.
• BBF does not sell customer information and does not use it for unrelated third-party advertising.

3. Third-party data sharing

BBF shares customer information with a third party only when that sharing is needed to complete a payment or provide the service you requested.

• SSLCommerz, and the card, bank, or mobile financial service you choose, receive the details required to process the payment and return the transaction result.
• Email or SMS providers may receive your address or mobile number when BBF sends a registration, payment, or receipt message you asked for.
• BBF remains responsible for customer information it shares with these service providers for that purpose.

BBF does not allow unauthorized third-party advertisements on this website, and it does not give customer lists to advertisers.

4. How long information is kept

Registration and payment records are kept for as long as needed to administer the conference, process a refund, and meet accounting and legal record-keeping duties. You may ask BBF to correct contact details that are wrong.
